Weekend tiling project

If you want a quick and cheap update to your bathroom then a few new tiles could be the answer. I have just finished this project for less than £10 and it only took a few hours.  The tiles are from Topps Tiles. Here are the before and after pictures.

Caffeine queen

There are times when a cheap packet of instant coffee granules stirred into tepid water can make a girl happy. Tonight I am profoundly happy to have just that and from a lady who loves her coffee that’s saying something. Let me explain… Today is International women’s day and Im travelling up to the North…

Good endings

Today was a sad day but also an amazing day. We sold our van. It went far quicker than I imagined. In fact the first couple that saw it wanted it. Maybe all that chrome polishing was worth it. The amazing thing was not only that we sold the van but who we sold the…

Still trucking

A pilgrim on a journey

She looked vulnerable, out of place in all the hustle, head barely able to straighten…

One week on the road

We have survived our first week. Here is the map of our journey so far…. 3 nights of wild camping, 3 stopovers with friends and one proper campsite.Highlights of our first week Cider tasting and pig petting in Somerset.  Eating fish finger sarnies cooked on our BBQ as the sun sets over Exmoor. Admiring the…
